X-Bond
X-Bond Integral system creates a unique polished concrete look, whilst the latex polymers feel warmer and quieter underfoot than polished concrete. The globally recognised X-Bond System is a water based, cementitious overlay. Can be applied to floors, walls and joinery.
X-Bond Integral
X-Bond Integral system creates a unique polished concrete look, whilst the latex polymers feel warmer and quieter underfoot than polished concrete.
APPLICATION:
X-Bond Integral is hand trowelled over an existing surface and then smoothed with a trowel.
X-Bond Integral is applied at approximately 4-6mm thick.
SEALERS:
Internal (Including walls, floors and joinery): X-Bond is sealed with three coats of gloss or Matt surface sealers.
External (Walls & Joinery only) X-Bond is sealed with two coats of X-Crete 500 matt penetrating sealer.
APPEARANCE:
X-Bond Integral is a smooth finish with trowel marks and colour variations.
AREAS OF SUITABILITY:
X-Bond Integral can be applied to internal and external walls, floors and joinery, including concrete, tiles, cement sheeting, water proofing membranes, plaster walls, brick, M.D.F and blue board.
X-Bond Blade
X-Bond is a combination of Stone Tex, which is white sand and cement mixture and liquid latex called X-Bond Liquid, when mixed for Blade the X-Bond system forms a thin white concrete liquid.
X-Bond Blade mix is then combined with a liquid colour pigment, changing the colour of the whole mixture
Application: X-Bond Blade is poured onto the existing substrate and then a large blade is used to spread it across the floor.
Once the X-Bond is dry, Pre-Stain colour is sprayed over the X-Bond surface.
X-Bond Blade is applied at approximately 2-3mm thick.
SEALERS:
Internal only: X-Bond is sealed with three coats of gloss or Matt surface sealers.
External or internal: X-Bond is sealed with two coats of X-Crete 500 matt penetrating sealer.
APPEARANCE:
X-Bond Blade does not have trowel marks however; the blade leaves chatter marks and the Pre-Stain colour results In a darker colour finish with a mottled look.
AREAS OF SUITABILITY:
X-Bond Integral can be applied to internal and external walls, floors and joinery, including concrete, tiles, cement sheeting, water proofing membranes, plaster walls, brick, M.D.F and blue board.
X-Bond Bi
X-Bond BI is a combination of Stone Tex, which is white sand and cement mixture and liquid latex called X-Bond Liquid, when mixed for Bl the X-Bond system forms a thin white concrete liquid.
X-Bond BI mix is then combined with half strength of liquid colour pigment, changing the colour of the whole mixture.
APPLICATION:
X-Bond BI is poured onto the existing substrate, and then a large blade is used to spread it across the floor.
X-Bond Blade is applied at approximately 2-3mm thick.
Unlike the Blade system no Pre-Stain colour is sprayed over the X-Bond Surface
SEALERS:
Internal only: X-Bond is sealed with three coats of gloss or Matt surface sealers.
External or internal: X-Bond is sealed with two coats of X-Crete 500 matt penetrating sealer.
APPEARANCE:
X-Bond BI, unlike the X-Bond Blade system colour is not as dark.
The blade leaves chatter marks and slight colour variation.
AREAS OF SUITABILITY:
X-Bond Integral can be applied to internal and external walls, floors and joinery, including concrete, tiles, cement sheeting, water proofing membranes, plaster walls, brick, M.D.F and blue board.
